Team Position: Video and Flash Animation, YouTube Channels, Web Movies, Video Production, Ineractive Presentations
Before KC joined the Mays Creative Team, most video and animation work was being outsourced to other creative groups. Although these groups had long standing creative relationships with Creative Director Ken Mays, the addition of KC to the core staff has driven Mays to new levels of web based video and animation. A prolific Flash developer, KC transformed the ho-hum website home page slide show into pure “wow,” introducing each client’s product or service with engaging animated stories that also included precision brand messaging. From using action scripts to create rain in the welcome movie of local novelist Rebecca York to animating “Festi,” the Columbia Festival of the Arts icon and dancing him across the top of the home page, KC is a master at creating eye candy that delivers important content. KC understands that today’s website is all about achieving the perfect combination of entertainment and information. He continues to push the animation envelope.
KC is skilled and knowledgeable in a wide variety of design areas including traditional video editing and production, Flash, web videos, animation, slide show presentations, PowerPoint and graphic design. His computer skills include Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Dreamweaver, CorelDraw, Macromedia Fireworks, Microsoft PowerPoint, and various Microsoft programs.
