2012 Checklist: Does Your Website Pass The Test?
Time passes quickly, and 2011 will soon come to end. Is your website ready for 2012? Business competition will continue to be fierce in this economy, so let’s find out!
Test #1: How cluttered is your homepage? Be honest. In 2012, home pages should be tightly focused and welcome the customer to the website instead of offering all of the details about the business. Customers want a more natural feel for websites as a whole, especially your home page.
Test #2: Is your site bold enough? Text and fonts will become larger, bolder and shorter. The plethora of information on the home page will be moved to other pages instead. Fonts and typefaces will be consistent on all pages of the site. Stop trying to be overly “fancy” and “artsy”. That will only serve to annoy potential customers.
