Website Development
Following client approval of the final website design, The Mays Web Team begins programming and construction of the final website using CSS, Flash, JavaScript, ASP and other applications as needed.
The site will be constructed in a special previews area on the Mays BizServe hosting platform, accessible to the client while the site is under development.
Once the portal website database and CSS are complete, the client will receive a secure login to the content management system, along with training, so they can begin uploading content to the site. In some cases, Mays may be uploading most of the initial content.
During this phase, the client provides all desired text, graphics and other content to Mays, unless custom copywriting services and royalty-free image acquisition services by Mays are required under the contract.
Testing of Website
Mays will begin testing the site in several common browsers.
At this time, Mays will review the site and make any final revisions to the server-side code to ensure maximum search engine optimization of the client’s keyword messages.
Website Launch & Final Training
Mays will finalize training of client staff on CMS, List Manager and any other related applications that are part of the website development contract.
Once the client is satisfied with training and the final page construction, the website will “go live” on the Mays BizServe Hosting Platform.
At this time, ASP forms, RSS feeds, interactive calendars and other dynamic modules will be fully functional.
Maintenance & Support
After the new website goes live. Mays will host the site, providing regular updating and maintenance of the portal website hosting platform.
Mays will also provide ongoing training support to help clients use the content management system and list manager more effectively and efficiently.
